After the grotto removal on October 5, 2016, there was a significant amount of debris. Some of the stones were too large to move, so in lieu of trying to clean up large rocks, there was a “landscaping party” held on October 15, 2016, to clean up the stones that fell on the area already landscaped on the lower bank. It was a pleasure to join forces with my husband, daughter, Pastor Jim Shields and his wife, Pam, Al Laplaca and Emily Bensinger on Saturday afternoon!
By October 23, 2016, the Building Committee leader had the rest of the debris cleaned out of the area. It was time to make a significant resource decision and complete another milestone to prepare for spring planting.
